The Library Chair selects the book of the month and appreciates hearing from the members about book recommendations.

Books can be checked out at the office.

The book of the month can be check out for one week, all other books can be checked out for 2 weeks.

June Book of the Month

The Laura Baldwin Franklin Chicago Bridge Tournament

The Laura Baldwin Franklin Bridge Tournament was established by Mrs. John Wright Watling, Jr.

The purpose of this tournament is to create a year round bridge competition for the enjoyment

of The Little Town Club members.

All participants must be members.

Members can create teams of two or more players.

Please contact the office for more information or to sign up your team.


Bridge Lessons

Bridge lessons are offered here at the Club.

Bridge lessons are generally a series of classes, but you may select individual classes you would like to attend.

Bridge Classes are taught by members, Norma Jean Shaw and Laura Kuhn.

Mah Jong Classes - American Mah Jong

Mah Jong classes are taught by member, Ellen Herman.

Ellen is an experienced Mah Jong teacher and very organized and thorough.

Classes are offers in 4 week sessions and subsequent sessions on Defense and Play of the Tile.

Mah Jong Open Game

The second Wednesday of each month is scheduled a Mah Jong Open Game.

Members and Guests are invited to play Mah Jong with others who have signed up for the Open Games.

The Mah Jong Open Game starts at 1:15 pm following lunch.

Stitchers

Join the Stitchers group every Friday from11:00 am to Noon.

Bring your projects to work on while socializing with other stitchers.

Bring your knitting, crocheting, jewelry projects embroidery and needlepoint.

Lunch is served following Stitchers at noon.
